In July of 2017, fate brought us together in our hometown of Napa, where we were both on summer break from UC San Diego. Our first date was a hike in Angwin. As summer ended, we went back to UC San Diego as friends. It was in September 2017, sitting on the beach in La Jolla Shores together just after we returned to college, that we realized how special we were to each other. Sitting on the beach at sunset, talking about our shared dreams and similarities, we knew that we had found something special.

After college graduation, we embarked on a new chapter in Newburyport, MA, where we lived together for the first time and began to imagine our future as a couple. Since then, we have supported each other through new careers, graduate school, and moves to Orange County and Palo Alto. About 3 years ago, we got our sweet dog Honey and she has filled our lives with so much joy and countless adventures.

Cole proposed on June 25, 2023 at sunset on the beach in Maui, reminiscent of that first beach trip where we knew we were the perfect match.

We can't wait for this next chapter of our lives together and we look forward to celebrating with all of you!
